Our weekend away was great - Simon played golf (the last part of his birthday present) with his brother Chris and Chris's mate Logan. We ate wonderful Indian* / Malay** food cooked by Simon's niece Cat and Logan rather than at a restaurant. We drank lots of prosecco, talked, laughed and cried - perfect family time.
* Kasmiri lamb stew, Chicken Saag, Chick pea daal - yum yum yum!
** Spicy Tofu noodles and a creamy, coconutty Quorn curry - I wouldn't have know it was a tofu which I hate and the noodles were gorgeous.

This sounds like a fantastic meal...And "home cooked" yet...I am impressed! So happy you had a great weekend...And thanks for your visit!
You asked what is in the Cobb Salad...Lettuce, Tomato, Hard Boiled Eggs, Bacon, Chicken, Avacado...ALL Chopped up very finely and then the dressing is Oil Based, but has some other stuff in it that makes the flavor fabulous. Just about every restaurant of a certain type has what they call a Cobb Salad on their Menu---Here in Los Angeles. BUT, it is never chopped up finely as the "original" is and was, and they all use other ingredients NOT in the Classic Cobb, as invented and served at the famous Brown Derby Restaurant, now gone, here in Hollywood....A GREAT GREAT Salad....so tasty and with great stuff in it.
If you Google it you will find the exact ingredients as made by The Derby. I may have left out an important ingredient...I hope not! (lol)
Thanks for your visit, my dear..!
Wow, that's a big comment to follow! And here I was just coming in here to say what a fabulous time it sound like you had this weekend.
So, um, yeah, what I just said! lol
