Well it was a sad old time in France. Christmas was fine and then suddenly on Boxing day my Nana died ... she'd had a nasty chest infection in October, pulled herself out, through and together and then slipped downhill very suddenly on the 26th. This week has been a mix of emotions (as times like this always are) a glut of good and sad memories, old photos, wedding rings, music and tears. The funeral is not until next Tuesday - I do wish it were sooner.

Rest in peace to your Nana.
On the good side, it was very quick. But how painful to cope with it at this seasonal time of jollity.
Nevertheless, wishing you a special and lovely year ahead.
PS A friend has recently lost his mother - another Nana, also on Boxing Day, and her funeral is not until the 15th! Seems to be a busy time.
Oh Laquet - so sorry to hear about your Nana.
Nana - you were obviously much loved and leave a wonderful legacy, rest in peace now.
One of MB's relatives by marriage died on Christmas Day morning. It is very sad when someone dies at the height of the season of celebration, goodwill, peace and new birth.
We're all here for you :-)
