So funny you say that. I was just saying that it would be worth the damper weather and a bit of snow to live in England and enjoy some of the foods we like. Walk to the pub....but I can't stand the cold really. I hope you get to le Laquet soon!
I saw clear blue skies and sun today for just a moment before it clouded over and got gray. This time of year, we take what we can get. In the meantime, I built myself a SAD light to make up the difference!
Both my daughters are in the sunshine right now, one in Hawaii (no kidding) and the other down in Montpellier. For that matter I am in the sunshine but with some snow and it is damn freezing!
Welsh teacher in exile in England. English husband - which can be murderous during the rugby season. This blog is about all the things I love – family, travelling, music, cooking and recipes, eating in & out with loved ones & friends, France, the Internet, teaching & learning, shopping, reading and new shoes – my online diary of life as I know & almost always love it!

Is that where you are going for the holiday? It looks like comfort, fun and the promise of good meals.
This is le laquet - my parents home in France and yes it's comfort and fun and WARMTH which is the bit I'd really like now Tina

Well, if this picture was taken in France .. I am not sure they're getting that much sun right now! What about being in Bali, or Punta del Este?

Oh, it would be nice to have warm weather now. But I also find myself wishing for cool weather in the summer.
If my mom and dad had a home in France, that's where I'd be!! How neat to live there!
I'm here from Let's Mingle
