1. Simon's wallet ... why can't men have handbags? That way he wouldn't come in from work and just dump his shit there! Men in France carry handbags without having their masculinity slammed.
2. Simon's keys ... ditto the wallet!
3. Simon's mobile phone ... ditto the wallet. Are we seeing a pattern here?
4. 3 tea-towels. We have hooks! And why are there 3 tea-towels on the go when we have a dishwasher? Is tea-towel the same word the world over?
5. Cooking oil
6. Soy sauce
7. Suzi Wan dipping sauce for nem ~ has to bought in bulk in France!
8. Chopping board ... pure laziness on my part, as it can't go in the dishwasher and is to big just to be put in the sink.
9. Receipt from Staples
10. This month's Golf World magazine
11. My bank statement
12. Holiday brochure
13. Birthday card for nephew #4

the tea towels that live in my kitchen seem to have the same problem. they loiter on the counters and rarely make it to the hooks. i'm not sure who is to blame: me, my husband, the cat, or maybe all three of us...
Hmmm - good question. No actaual travel plans in the works, but really want to go to Tibet and Nepal. Thanks for visiting.
*laugh* I could come up with a lot more than 13 items to remove from my counters... sadly... All mine, too. Dang.
there's a magazine called golf world? please don't tell my dad.
Kitchen counters tend to collect a lot of stuff that doesn't belong there, don't they/ :-)
My TT is about Halloween facts.
It sounds like my kitchen work surface. Can't make food because there is too much junk
Okay our tea towels, are like, 12 x 20 towels. Little bath towels.
Now I ordered a Charles and Dianna Tea towel from England. I got it and it was alot bigger then ours, and burlapy. So I'm not sure they are the same the world over.
Happy TT!
Ahh if my partner was to say what was on our bench he would say catalogues and my mobile.
Happy TT!
My kitchen counter would have be to on the Fifty Friday list
sounds a lot like my kitchen. it's cluttered with dishes and towels and stuff that doesn't belong, like wallets, schoolbooks, and tools.
have a great day!!
Sounds as if Simon would benefit from his own personal basket, a place to dump his stuff, eh?
I've posted my Thursday Thirteen, too. Enjoy! ;)
Men do NOT need handbags. LOL
My TT is up too.
What's a tea towel???? the small ones for your hands like MLady said? and why are they called like that??? maybe I should tour the wikipedia...
Sounds like the counter in my MIL's kitchen. I learned quickly not to leave my meds there--I couldn't find them after 3 hours!
Have a great day. Thirteen 10th Birthday Photos
What's a tea towel?
I have to go home and clear off my counters and put away the things my mom left on them that she didn't know where to put things away while she was here. ;)
Happy TT!
I say just remove it all (and toss it in a junk drawer/cabinet.) Out of site out of mind, right?!?
Tea towels...I've never heard the phrase. But, I stay away from domestic chores in the kitchen. I hate dishpan paws!
That's the stuff that ends up on our kitchen table. Until we eat, then it just gets shoved to one side. *blush*
Thanks for stopping by and happy TT. :)
It's easier with a cat as you can see on my Thursday 13 list, lol !
We have a thousand things sitting around on our kitchen counters too!
I carry two wallets. I don't know if I could deal with a purse.
Glad I'm not the only one who has a lot of extra stuff on my counters.
Happy TT!
We say "tea towels" in Australia.
My kitchen bench is kind of like that except more like "dirty chopping board, dirty glasses, dirty cups, dirty dishes..." ugh.
Handbags are for wusses. 'Nuff said.
:-)
yep Im sensing a pattern, though I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.
My mother calls them "tea towels" but I call them "dish towels" :)
Have a great weekend, Jo!
Great list! And congrats on post number 500!!
Thanks for stopping by.
