Guess what plonker wiped out her blog template in one little click this morning? And guess what plonker hadn't kept a copy of said template as suggested by Aunty Fizzy? And guess which plonker has spent the last 2 hours redoing her template? BUT guess what plonker now has made a copy of said template and saved it on a CD? Just in case of another natural disaster you understand!

Oh gawd! I know that feeling only too well. Apparently there's a nifty bit of software for creating backups - haven't tried it but it comes recommended from Gran's on Bran.

But hey.I got mostly all of my blog backed up on disc,except the last 3 weeks,that is.
I got the fix....but tried that and YUP,I bombed at that too....but I didn't SAVE the "fix",that's for sure.It would have made things worse after looking at it,and my comments are still out there somewhere.
Still a Chez fan.Even if I am one of those "plonker's".

Well, from one plonker to another...been there done that..THREE TIMES!!!! I have saved a copy of my template as a word document and try to resave it periodically. It is NOT fun to try and recreate your blog.
I have a copy of my template as a draft in my gmail account... two hours of hard work, sorry about that
Yep, templates do get lost somehow. On advice of someone else I started to keep a copy of mine in email. It sure is easy to recover when there is a problem. I like that a lot. Plus you can keep more than one copy. Nice.

Not to mention,we all got a cool new word.I had a BaaaaD day at work that same day and wanted to yell..."YOU FREAKIN' PLONKERS"!! But according to the definition of the word PLONKER...THAT was TOO lighthearted.So A***hole would have been a much better word to describe my co-worker!
