And so all good things come to an end as they must and tomorrow I am travelling north once again to go home – boo! Simon left for home last Sunday but of course being a teacher I go to stay on … however there is no truth in the rumour that I went into teaching for the summer holidays. Honest! Our ferry is at 9pm tomorrow and then next Monday I have to go back to work.
Now, those of you who know me will be astonished by this early return as you realise that I wouldn’t normally come back to the UK until the very last minute possible ~ they don’t call me last minute fly by the seat of my pants Annie for nothing. But Wednesday the 30th is a pretty special day as I’ll be off to Wales to help my Nana celebrate her 90th birthday!
So, here’s to another French broadband free holiday almost over … see you all soon :o)

Hurrah! You're back.
Frankly, since your name is Jo, I'm surprised anyone calls you any kind of Annie at all...
Your Nana is worth coming home for no matter how old she is but 90 is a great milestone.
Have a safe trip back

Hellooooo?
How awesome!90 years old....Happy 90th to Grandma. It all sounds so cool when you hear someone talk about France or Wales or other places that I've always wished I could go to.My sister has been in Germany for 18 years and never plans on coming back to live in the states, and always nags me to come...but it's not so easy for me to find the time to just lock up and go...but she promises that if I ever get there,I'll get the grand tour of Europe(Italy,France,Switzerland,Amsterdam,etc..)
So it's always nice to hear others' travels on here.Anyways...glad to hear your back safely.
