Bide your time, Jo ... I heard on the radio this morning that we're in for a loooong, hot summer.
Mind you, I'll believe it when I see it.
Pity me - I'm off out to Beijing for a month and it's currently high twenties/low thirties. Us northerneres find anything over 16 difficult to bear.
We're experiencing the same here. We've had so much rain that since January the 10-year drought deficit has been eradicated and then some.
I feel like I'm beginning to mildew.
We're in the same boat. It's gorgeous in the morning and by mid afternoon - just before we're scheduled of work, it pours. And I mean POURS!
Our field is looking rather dodgy these days the grass is so high!
Oh my gosh - I do not miss the UK weather after a year of living in chilly Scotland! Hope summer picks up for you!
