Ah Friday!

Thank goodness! Not only is it the weekend (almost) but only 2 more official working days before the holidays ~ hurrah! Last night was "open night", a chance for pupils and parents to come into school, mingle, admire work, meet new teachers and chat! A lovely evening but boy oh boy is the build up to it all a nightmare! Extra work on walls & neat as a pin classrooms ... that's just not me for a start :o)

Anyway that's over, it was lovely to meet some of the new children for Spetember ... tiny little ones aged 3 who were overcome with the excitement of the nursery! Things were torn off shelves with abandon. Cupboards opened, drums banged, keyboards poked, tadpoles admired. I cannot wait! But until the goodbyes have started ~ cards from children, hugs, year 6 (those diappearing to the local comprehensive and grammar schools) tears! A sad time of the year but exciting for everyone all the same!

Have a great Friday / weekend guys :o)

I hope you get lots of pressies from your kiddies for being their teacher all year. Lord knows you deserve all those hugs and smiles from them. Sadly it seems that you're not going to be able to let them know that BB returned...I'm going to have to have another go at our Post Office here, I can't believe it could possibly take this long to get there! It's worrying me stupid that it could have gone astray :(

Have a great weekend and enjoy the walk...pace yourself and have plenty of water (yes, I know you don't need me to say that lol)

xx

I used to be a tour guide at a local farm and we'd take groups of school kids around on the tour...letting them hold the chicks and baby ducks and they got to milk a cow and stuff like that. My FAVORITE groups were the 3 and 4 years olds! They'd get SO EXCITED! It was so sweet to see! :)

You have a great weekend too! :)

Summer break was always an interesting time. Sad at parting company but excited for the prospects that a summer offers.
