Blog Fodder #19 - #24

So Blog Fodder has been back and I've missed 6 weeks - what a slacker I am! So here's an almighty catch-up.

Question #19 came from Gopher, of “The Ramblings of a Scottish Gopher.”
Define your musical tastes in 10 songs.

1. So, I'm a little bit disco ~ Boogie Wonderland
2. A little bit "rock disco" ~ Waterloo
3. A little bit old school rock ~ Sweet Home Alabama
4. Well maybe a big bit old school rock ~ Wishing Well
5. A little bit new romantic ~ Planet Earth
6. A lot country ~ She's in love with the boy
7. Copperhead Road
8. A little bit folkie ~ Big Yellow Taxi
9. And finally, I'm a lot Welsh ~ Road Rage
10. Mama told me not to Come (Tom Jones and Stereophonics version!)

And that's not even half of it because I didn't get to mention what I am currently listening to ~ Mika, KT Tunstall, The Kaiser Chiefs, the gorgeous Jack, Snow Patrol and The Fratellis.

Question #20 came from Kevin, from "One Rainy Day".
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?

As a kid, I wanted to be something very prosaic, like a primary school teacher. I was very aware of one particular teacher who ritually humiliated the children in her class and I didn't think that was right. I knew that as a teacher I wouldn't do that - and what do you know, here I am 27 years later doing just that!

#21 was set by margalitc, over at What was I Thinking?
What was the catalyst for the time when you REALLY went over the edge temper-wise?

My husband knows just the buttons to press and so it seems does my mother in law. 2 weekends ago she ragged at her youngest grand-daughter so much that it made me want to explode! It's that ritual humiliation thing again - I loathe it!

Question #22 comes from Truth, over at Piece of the Puzzle.
What is the best kitchen gadget that you own that you can’t live without?

I used to have a wooden lemon juicer, it was like a handle with the juicer bit on the end and it was fabulous!! In fact beyond fabulous. Or as they'd say in Wales "fabulous beyond"! It broke, years ago and I've never been able to replace it. I'd probably sell/swap my husband for a new one of those! It looked like this. I've seen Nigella using one and let's face it ... if the Domestic Goddess says it's good enough for her, then it's good enough for me!

Question #23 is Toy Reviews' topic.
You get to “restart” your life at any age. When, and why?

17 - I'd have doen a little better at A levels and would have started teaching sooner!

And finally, *preens smugly* I think you'll find that's me up to date!

Question #24 from Karen, of Karen Writes.
What fashion trend you followed was very cool then, but now looks ridiculous?

Just 2 little words are enough answer for this one - leg warmers! Need I say more?

Can't your fab hubby break a branch off a tree and whittle you one of them lemon things?? Sheesh, how hard can it be? *tongue in cheek*

And hey, I've heard that leg warmers are coming back into fashion, not that I'll be partaking...mind you, with the way it's been over here lately, don't be surprised if you get to see me wearing them from the top of my head all the way down to my toes lol

Like the music questions and may have to steal them - I'm a Jack fan too and don't get me started on ABBA!
