World Aids Day

A thunk yo Kent!

A good meal
Everyone gets fed
Whilst in Kwa-Zulu Natal as of a Kent County Council International CPD programme I visited a drop-in centre for Aids victims and orphans. Some of the kids we saw were being raised by their grandparents and/or their siblings. Some of them were eating their only meal of the day. I am sure some of them are now dead themselves. Today, December 1st is World Aids Day ... let's not forget. Let's keep fighting for all of them!
Here, taste this!

It doesn't seem that Aids is getting the attention it did in the Media. It is important to remember people are still suffering and money still needs to be raised and a cure has not found. Thanks for the post and thanks for coming by my blog. Hope you come by again.:-)

Good one Jo. As for Aids and the media, Scientific American had a very good issue last month or so covering the new aids therapy, vaccines, drugs etc.

You are a nice do-gooder sort of person? We could use more of that in this world. Keep up the good work.
