... my biggest love; next to my husband, my family and friends of course *phew, rescued that one at the last minute! But in the same breath I have to say that the first morning back in work is my greatest enemy. Bad tempered, over-tired, unenthusiastic and not even a sign of a "womanly hormone" ... honest!
But today I will do my damnedest to not let the "post holiday blues" make me Miss Grumpy and I will endeavour to be full of sweetness and light ~ sugar and spice and all things nice :: that's me! And how am I going to do this you ask? Well, I'm assuming you would ask, seeing as you are here ~ breakfast @ Nell's on the way to work ... fabulous! So, come on friends, Romans, countrymen ... your post holiday blues cures please?
This really should have been a "this is what I did on my holiday" photo-post (is that a real word?) but 2 eejits I know (that'd be me and the other eejit who lives here) left the camera lead and our toothbrushes in France ... and they let me care for young children!!

There is no cure.
It's a monkey on your shoulder until the next trip.
It's a cureless bug that nips at your feet like a sick SICK SICK SADISTIC CAT!!!!.....
Ok I kicked the cat and he ran upstairs.
I can see how you could forget something small like a toothbrush or the camera, but you can't loose kids. You can't even get rid of them when you want too LOL
Have a nice day :)
Gee thanks Walker *flinches away from nipping by sick sadistic cat that Walker just kicked* You have a good one too!
Jo
Oh no! Will you be able to get them back?
Unfortunately I have no post hols cure. I am merely miserable for a couple of days, weeks, months abd sod those around me. They just have to put up with it!
on no, will they post them back for you...??? i also am utterly miserable for weeked after a holiday...
i am better than i used to be, i used to cry...(how sad is that)
:0)
Getting home after a lovely holiday gives you a flat, empty feeling. Yeah, it sucks. I always get home and say to myself "well? now what??"
I think the only cure for holiday blues is to book another one. Then you have something to carry you through the days of flatness and "I don't wanna be here"-ness.
Make plans for the next one, and the target of getting to that first day of holiday stuff can spirit you along quite well.
A breakfast treat is always good. Or a shopping expedition
I used to buy Conde Naste Traveller magazine and drool over the photos and think how I could do the cheaper version the next time we went on holiday!
I hope the day went well for you. I am sorry that you have the back to school blues. The kids I was with were al half asleep.. until I opened all the windows HAHAHAHAHA
Cheer up and I hope you get your stuff back soon
(btw you are tagged)
