Mother #1 ~ It's December tomorrow and I haven't even thought about what I'm going to get his (I assume she meant her OH) mother for Christmas!
Mother #2 ~ Yes, I need to write my Christmas dinner shopping list I'm really behind schedule already!

*hangs head in shame* I am so organised, i have bought most gifts written 99% of my cards and wrapped some overseas presents...i would be in total panic if i hadn't done any of that yet...i am offically sadder than sad...lol

Oh, the stress of it all. The poor loves!
This week I'm doing the duck and dive. Duck into the mall as soon as it opens and duck out, getting about two presents at a time, thereby avoiding lugging around huge shopping bags and standing in long queues.
That's the theory, anyway.

I think I am going to have brave the crowds at some time .... but this year I really do not want to and I do not know what I am going to get everybody.

Sounds like 'perfect hostess' one upmanship, a bit of self validation, bless 'em. Such a feast going on, all cooked from scratch, of course, with SO many guests.....
I had a fridge magnet once that said 'Women with immaculate houses lead dull lives' (compensation for my own house being full of rubbish to go with the kids) but I kind of think it applies here?
