Who do you blog for?

This morning I am mostly asking myself who do I blog for? Me - I think? But in that case would I be absolutely gutted / besides myself if you didn't read / comment - yes, I think, probably - YES! But in that case am I blogging for me? Probably not. So now (and this is not a new thing) I feel guilty about the entries for "nothing particularly happened days!" And there are lots of them!

Yesterday was not one of those days. Yesterday morning when I popped out of class for 5 minutes one of my little darlings hit the teaching assistant (TA) in charge. The little boy involved squirted his water bottle @ another child, so the TA took the bottle away. So he hit her! I (Me) & the headteacher removed the child from the classroom - for the whole day! He must have been "bored rigid" but he had to know that this was not accpetable - I mean, he's 7 years old and he's hitting adults. At 7 I was too scared to hit anyone ..... who'll be next another child? Me? *

The headteacher rang his father ** to discuss the incident - and at the end of the afternoon his father came to see if the TA was ok / discuss his son's behaviour. WRONG - he stood outside the railings (sp?) and shouted "hurry up C, I haven't got all fucking day!" Tell me there's hope!

* It wouldn't be the first time, I have gone home from school black and blue more times than I care to remember!! Once a little boy bit my face and left teeth marks!
** His mother is in Cyprus looking for a house to buy so the family can move out there!

And I allus thought you were blogging for my enjoyment! Pffft! Ripped off! ;-)

I really think there's no hope for some families and it makes me really, really sad. I think you must be made of far stronger emotional stuff than I am.

Have a great day!

WoW is biting peoples faces allowed in Cyprus? I blog for me and everyone.
Mind you I thought I would have scared everyone off by now but they are more resiliant than I thought.
Have a nice day and for gods sake get a face guard.

i blog for me, and if you all come along and comment then thats fine (actually i check about a million times a day for my comments so i am probably lying) its hard to have days with nothing to say, how dare life be so boring, thats where meme's come in handy...i sometimes lose sleep over what i'm going to post about on those slow news days too...

and kids these days, i know its the parents, but i don't think i could have a nice kid and then it gets into the wrong crowd and all your good work is undone anyway...society needs a radical shake up and soon, i despair...

:0)

A friend of mine retired from teaching last year, basically because one of her fifteen year old (female) students knocked her down in front of her class. So much easier to deal with when they are seven :/.

Thank you for visiting me!

Back in the day, we had the "magic wand". It was a baseball bat shaved down to a flat surface with holes bored into it to prevent any drag. Mr. Simmons my 6th grade teacher used it with impunity. I wouldn't have dared hit him. He'd hit me back and then my dad would beat the snot out of me. Ahhh, the good old days.

He's moving to Cyprus, huh. Isn't it great when your prayers actually get answered!

lol @ fi, you just wrote my exact thoughts.

I blog for me, and you and anyone else that bothers reading me. Yes, the slow days are difficult...that's when I blog about some of the past, or the children, or sex, or post a pic. omg, that's all I ever do anyway lol

we learn about each other this way, whether it be exciting or boring. Most of us are realists, we understand that we're supposed to have some slow time in our lives...we'd be exhausted or permanently in hospital if we went out to make this happen just so we could blog about them later eh? lol
